ISO 9001 Case Study

We were engaged by Landscapes & Contracts Ltd, a Hillington based construction company, to assist in their route to ISO 9001 registration. After familiarising ourselves with their existing systems, we set out to streamline and simplify them, ensuring that they complied with ISO 9001:2008 requirements. ISO 14001 Case Study

HEROtsc: We have previously worked with HEROtsc, to ensure that their organisation was well equipped with certification to the Internationally Recognised Environmental and Health & Safety standards, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800. Their aim was to provide ‘safer and greener’ practices, and we had the knowledge and expertise to help.

Taking advantage of a Business Development Grant which assists companies to progress towards certification, HEROtsc set an ambitious target date of six months to achieve the integrated certification.

We were able to successfully work with them to meet this deadline, enabling them to reach full certification of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800.

Prime Build Solutions

We were contracted by Prime Build Solutions to assist them in developing and implementing an integrated quality and environmental management system. We were able to successfully create and implement a flexible solution that met ISO 14001 and 9001 certification, manage and reduce energy consumption, and provide bespoke company documentation.

After successful certification to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, Prime Build Solutions continued to engage QCS International to manage their internal audit programme and to prepare documentation for their Management Review in relation to the requirements of the ISO standards. Outsourcing our management system support to QCS International allows us to concentrate on our operations, with QCS undertaking the checks and balances to ensure we are on track and utilising our resources in the best way possible - Graeme O’Malley, Prime Build Solutions

OHSAS 18001 Case Study

OPG Ltd, a Scottish based vehicle graphics company, engaged us to assist them in gaining certification to ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.

We carried out a full integrated review of both ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 and created a fully integrated management system. A full review of legislation identified all potential hazards and QCS and OPG worked together on implementing controls to maintain and improve the health and safety performance to ensure a safe working environment for staff, visitors and contractors
