Ian has worked at QCS for over 15 years, the last 10 as Managing Director. An experienced consultant specialising in Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System implementation, he has developed, implemented, and certified many systems across a wide range of sectors. Work has included systems that meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Experienced in sectors which include engineering, textiles, chemicals, public sector, construction, food and drink, medical device and utility companies. Ian has worked within the UK, Europe and Asia, delivering bespoke solutions to businesses with varied and complex issues to ensure effective management of their business in a safe manner with reduced environmental impact.
Ian takes the lead in the design and development of all our training courses. He has also delivered courses approved by IRCA and CQI on quality, environmental, information security, medical device and health and safety management.
Outside of work, Ian can be found playing tennis, taking Floss the collie on numerous walks or singing in the Edinburgh Festival!
