RIDDOR – Are You Meeting Your Legal Reporting Duties?
Under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR), employers, the self-employed, and those in control of work premises have a legal duty to report certain serious workplace incidents. These include:
- Work-related accidents resulting in death or specified injuries
- Diagnosed cases of certain occupational diseases
- Dangerous occurrences (near-miss events with the potential to cause harm)
